What happened?

Occasionally I will see a few tracks in my creek and I've always assumed that they were muskrat but I don't know those type of tracks well. I walked down today and saw the creek covered in tracks. Something had spent so much time in one area that it had removed all of the snow off of the ice. I think that a mink killed a muskrat and has been returning to feed. What do you guys think?

Didn't put enough dirt down....saw it, right off

Re: What happened?

Definitely appear to be mink tracks.
