No idea what I just saw

So I am driving down Franklin Farm Rd beside the Washington Crown Center. I saw a wake in the creek, that I thought was two ducks swimming. Upon a closer look, I saw a large brown head and a longish (2ft or so) body swimming in the creek. I am no water trapper and have no idea. Seemed way to big to be a muskrat. Otter? Doubtful it was a beaver. Not sure. Any guesses? Or has anyone else seen it?

I'm thinking otter.

The horizon is your starting point.

I thought otter. Never seen one in the wild. Was rather shocked to see it there as it is a very developed area.

Re: No idea what I just saw

There are beaver in that area, used to dam the creek up right across from long john silver's. Otter could be a slim possibility, but beaver would be my guess at what you saw

Re: No idea what I just saw

Did fair, weather was crazy from snow and ice storms to 80 degrees sometimes twice in one week. I'll be fleshing beaver for the next few weeks after work.
