Last Day - Saturday Game Plan?

Well, tomorrow is the LAST chance to get a buck/doe during the regular archery season (south east WMU's excluded). Are you hunting? What's your plan? Are you going to try something different? Push into that bedding area a little harder? Have you given up all together?

For me, I'm going to sit just in the morning right where I sat on Monday and missed a great big 8pt. I'm going to sit in a different tree due to wind direction but within 30yds or so. I saw more deer there than any other spot I hunted all season. I'm sure the deer count will be lower since I stunk it up Monday and a young man I talked to yesterday eluded to the fact that he was in there yesterday morning. Still, it's my very best spot and I don't mind making it the last spot I hunt during the regular season.

I'm not doing anything different, no need to.

I'll be out. Not sure which stand I'll be in. Dont know that I'll hunt all day either. I killed a doe yesterday. Today has been real slow. Only saw 2 bucks and 2 does. No matter I'll be out and if I don't get my buck I'll be gun hunting the first day.

NE wind for me all day. Going to try a place I only sat once this year. I didn't see anything but I know there are doe in there and it's not that far back to the parking lot if I get one.

I'll be out in my old stand that I put up just for the rut ! The stand that I had put up in between the 2 fences at the man made funnel hasn't paid off at all as I have sat there several times and haven't seen a deer there during daylight ! I pulled a couple cards today when I got down and my one cam has the big 10 pointer on it last night so I'm headed back out there to try and catch him during daylight these next couple of sits ! I haven't had my boy Hooks at all on cams !!

I will be sitting tomorrow for a doe but will be pulling for all of you that are trying to make it happen. The last day has historically seen a lot of bucks fall. Good luck to all that are out there!

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Does are in the thickest cover they can find this time of year and a lot of the bucks will be in their tending them. The bucks that aren't tending will be traveling between bedding area's usually traveling in a big circle. Going to continue to hunt thick bedding areas and feel like I'm just seconds away from killing a good one.

#1 priority for me is getting my dad a deer. Just talked him into getting a crossbow last year after him fighting it for a long time. He hasn't shot a deer (buck) in over 20 years so doe or buck will do but every time I tell him where to go, the stubborn guy decides to do the opposite. After seeing nothing tonight and hearing about what I saw he finally had his moment and decided to sit tomorrow morning where I want him to. We'll see if it plays out that way hahaha!! Good luck to everyone going out tomorrow and can't wait to see some awesome stories
