I'm sitting in a strip of woods in 5D that I have never hunted before. There's a cow pasture on one side and a creek on the other. The green briers in here are showing fresh, heavy browsing, so I'm expecting company....hopefully, before dark!

Seen more deer dead on the road recently. I think after the front goes through we should be in for good movement.

Was out from 330-dark for the first time on a 17 acre property that i was just invited to hunt on. Basically just climbed a tree that would work best with the wind direction and offered me a good view so i could observe deer movement. Around 5 had a small 5pt stroll past unaware and was also able to see where majority of deer movemet was so now i have a better idea where to set up next time.

The deer gettin hit on the road around here is unbelievable! It’s like someone flipped a switch the past two days.

Same thing here!!! 3 small buck hit on the 35 minute trip to work. 3 other big blood spots on the road too.
Deer were everywhere tonight and I wasnít hunting.

I thought it was Halloween on 422 this weekend, the amount of headless deer was scary.....

Also, as some have noted, they are STILL in bachelor groups even now. Got them on camera as early as Saturday night... And doing the 11 pm thing...
