Gold tips are by far the toughest arrow I have ever shot. I would never switch away from them if i was not forced to. They are the best in my opinion

If you go FMJs, you may have to get new nocks and tips/broadheads, too. Just something to keep in mind.

Go to your local bow shop, buy 1 of each you would like to try & see which one suits you before you buy a dozen or half dozen. I used the maxima red's (350 spine) great shooting arrow's when I had a compound few years back.
