Need a Smith

I have a RMC flintlock that is currently my backup rifle. I'm looking for s smith to do some inletting and trigger work on this rifle. Not rocket science, but past my comfort level. My stockmaker and rifle smith passed away and none of the local guys (Elk county) seem comfortable with a flintlock. I'm not in a rush, but would like to have the rifle ready to go by Spring. Figure you folks would be able to steer me to a competent person.

You might give Brad Emig a call at Cabin Creek Muzzleloading in Hallam, PA. (717) 757-5841. Brad is a top-notch gunsmith, and a fine gentleman.

Re: Need a Smith

Thanks for the lead. I'll call Mr. Emig after Christmas and ask him to fix the RMC.

This guy isn't just a smith . He's an artist. Absolute craftsman. If u visit his shop, you will almost certainly find yourself longing for one of his custom long rifles, if not on the waiting list .....
