Re: LEFT HANDED FLINTER

I have been looking for leftys for years. I've had to purchase all mine new. They are scarce. I look at every shop I go to (any shop along my travels over western PA) and in the past 12 years I have found "0" on the shelf used. Good Luck!!

Re: LEFT HANDED FLINTER

I am also what my father refers to as wired up backwards! But I have thanked him numerous times for forcing me to learn to shoot right handed when I was still but a wee lad!

He just got that scat eating grin like "I told Ya so" every time!!

Several new left handed Lyman Deerstalkers can be found on the internet from reputable dealers. You can have one shipped directly to you.

Re: LEFT HANDED FLINTER

When I was 4 or 5 my dad saw me shooting my red ryder left handed he said I had to shoot right handed and wouldn't let me shoot left handed anymore He didn't want to have to buy left handed guns for me when I was old enough to hunt

Re: LEFT HANDED FLINTER

Yes, lyman makes a very nice left hand flintlock, and they come new with a nice set of fiber optic sights. I have had one for anfew years and love it!

Up until i purchased this gun i always used a right hand flinter, BUT, it was a little on the dangerous side (had to watch which way the wind was blowing) or you could get a face full of hot powder. I hunted with these for many years before looking into a lefty.

All of my bolt guns are right handed, i have always used right handed compounds, shooting them right handed of coarse. I guess im kinda backwards.

I thought I was the only one. Every gun right handed except the muzzleloader. I do everything right handed but I am left eye dominant and shoot that way.

If you come to the end of a path, do not turn back, continue on and make your own trail.
