My wife gave me a $500 dollar spending limit for a muzzleloader. I have shot one but never hunted with one. I need some ideas for a good loader with all the trimmings (powder, flint, balls, patches, etc.) Second where is a good place to go get set up?
I have a lyman GPR 50 cal and it shoots real good. I can hit at 100 yards with it with fibre optic sights. Thing I never thought about until this year is a crossbow. First day of inline I had two buck walk right up to me. I mean within 30 feet. The second buck had one thick set of horns. Where they met his skull they were about as big around as 1 1/2 pipe. First time I ever even thought about wanting a crossbow. First time I ever saw a buck and prayed for a doe instead. Never did see a doe the whole inline season. First year I got my doe liscense in years. I figured it won't hurt if I shoot one doe. It has been a long time since I shot a deer and I swallowed my pride for the chance at a little V. Don't know if I remember what it tastes like.
You canít get them if you ainít in the woods!!

the great plains will run a little more then 500 but is worth the money the trade gun is alittle less and is still worth the money its up to you on which one you want the trimmings or extras can come later
