Re: tc pennsylvania hunter flintlock

I have a TC White Mountain Carbine a very similar gun,and my trigger doesn't operate like this. I could be wrong but I think the trigger was broke off short. I know on my gun the trigger only has a 1/4" of clearance from the trigger guard, and is definately a full length trigger. I am not bashing the guy selling, but seems odd to me. See if you can get a picture of it and put it on here for all of us to see.

I have a tc pennsylvania hunter and I can tell you mine is definately not like that. Mine has a normal trigger like any other gun.

the thrill is not in the kill, but in the experience

My dad and brother both have them and it is not like this. Scam.

There is a spring that pushes that trigger down. It can slip off it's anchor and cause that but it could be broken or missing. I don't know how hard that spring would be to get but I would think you can get one from TC for free. When you cock the hammer the trigger will move forward spring or not just like the man says.

Re: tc pennsylvania hunter flintlock

I have a Pa hunter and as others have stated this is not the normal. If everything else seems right and price is right and this is the gun you want the trigger shoulg be able to be repaired for sure. Can you see the gun in person be fore you buy? I'd rather miss out than have further problems,If not able to see before buying I would most likly past and pay a little more for one I could touch before buying
