flintlock season question

during flintlock season, if you have a buck tag left, does that become universal in flintlock season as a buck or doe tag?

Re: flintlock season question

Yes it does as long as you are using a flinter. Late archery runs concurrently, but your buck tag is still a buck tag if using a bow.

You can't get em from the couch.

Yeah, I'm kind of regretting talking myself into an AK-47 instead of a muzzleloader prior to hunting season. Guess I thought this season would be like last where I at least saw some deer!! Doh! Live and learn.

Re: flintlock season question

But only in the late(after christmas) season, and only if you are using a flintlock. Even though archery runs concurrent with the late flintlock season, the buck tag can only be used on a doe with the flintlock, not the bow. It doesn't apply to the early muzzleloader season either.

I think I'm an alright guy, I think I'm alright
