Dateing a Hawkin

Is it possible to find the manufacture date on my T/C Hawkin? I bought it used and was wondering if it was an older or newer model.

When I read the title I instantly thought of Bear Claw trading his squaw for a Hawken gun. "I took her down and lodgepoled her at Wolf creek and then I traded her for a Hawken gun" Good news is Jeremiah Johnson is on Sunday at 8 on AMC.
