pa pellet flintlock

what do you all think of this muzzleloader, what do you use in the rifle, in the pan, type of bullet? do you like the accuracy of this gun? do you use the pellets and which manufactchurer? point of aim---behind the shoulder???

I've got the stainless version and really like it. I pour in 80 grains of FFg (Triple 7)and shoot either 245 or 295 grain HP Powerbelts with good accurracy; though the 295's shot about an inch to an inch and half lower at 50 yds.

There are a few other tricks I've learned, but I really like the gun. I do prefer the new model with the metal sights.


Freshwater Mussels? Can you eat'em?

I use FFF goex inside with the basic hornady .490 roundballs with FFFF ouside in pan with good groups at 50 yds. Eventually go with pellets and sabots but for cheap it shoots great

I love this ml,I use 80 grains in pellet form and a 350 gr hornady bullet in the pan its good ole Goex. I use a 6 o clock hold at 50 yds and poi is 2" high dead center
