On the way to the property and right up until about daylight it was a nice light rain that would have made an all day hunt tolerable. That turned into a torrential down pour that had water running down my back and chest to the under layers below. Said deluge also rendered lock soaking wet when trying to unload to facilitate cleaning and drying an otherwise soaked muzzleloader. Back home by 1030
On a high note, I did see 2 does but it was still a tad too dark under the trees to pick up the front sight.
Weather is supposed clear out for the PM, but if I donít get things dried and cleaned before then Iím calling it a day.
