YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some of you may remember that I lost the Whole Rear Site off my Traditions Flinter last year on the second day of season...I searched high and low for it in the leaves and came up with nothing...

Been looking at Traditions Site SINCE and they are out of stock, out of stock, out of stock..

Well today I decided to call traditions and Find out HOW in the World I am supposed to hunt with my Flinter without a rear site...
Well, GLAD I called! The part I need is NOT out of Stock, there is a Glitch on thier website!

So, they took my information and payment by CC and it will be here sometime this week...YEEEEEEEESSSSSS!

They are even sending screws at no extra charge because the other screws backed out somehow and caused the whole rear site to fall off and get lost some place...

I'm going to make dang sure these New screws have LOCK TIGHT on them...

I'll be shooting it back in sometime this weekend or next week....

Mike and I and Hopefully Knight will be hunting Deer again the 26th and I'll finally get my First kill with the Flinter...

That phone call MADE my Day today!!

Re: YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the glitch in their site is prob some lazy developer. either that or they dont do inhouse development and dont have anyone to fix it, lol.

glad you got your part

What I say might not be the popular trend but at least Im not afraid to speak my mind!

Re: YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news!! Be carefull which loctite you use, you may never get it back off if you have too. My favorite for these things and scope mounts is clear fingernail polish.

Use the blue loctite, NOT the red.

Re: YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if those are the plastic sights i'd spend a little $$ and update them with fixed sights or adjustable steel/aluminum sights.

Re: YEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If some of you can not tell, I'M EXCITED!!!!!

I got to hunt 2 days last year and then lost the site... those 2 days I SAW deer but they were to far for a shot...for the rest of the season, I became a pusher for my Buddy Leonard and he managed a nice fat doe with his flinter... All I could do was walk around and watch those deer stand about 50 yards away and look at me for a good 5 minutes before running!

I hope that site gets here before the weekend and 3 of us can go do some shooting and have some fun before season, shooting at targets and getting ready!!

Nothing like that FOOOF of smoke in your face!

I was in Gander Mountain about a Month ago and talked to thier Gun Smith...he told me that there was nothing he could make for my rifle...

I ran into a guy hunting the farm the first Saturday of rifle season and we got to talking about the Flinter season and I told him my Problem...he gave me a Gun Smith's name and number who is the gun smith in central PA for the State Police...

After the season is over, I'll take it to him and see what he has to say about the site... the guy I was talking to, said this guy would be able to make me up a nice Rear and Front site for my Traditions that I will NEVER Have an issue again of loosing a site!
