Re: 41 cal. pa/kentucky rifle troubles [PLEASE HELP]

Try putting a quantity of gun oil down the bore to soak the patch. Then put in the worm - snd screw it into the wet patch. Now pull it out gently. You may need to actually put in another patch to help snag the first one.

You can also use a 45 cal pistol bore brush, one of the wire ones.

Dixie Gun Works too. Also, if you are into muzzle loading, try this site. http://www.muzzleloadingforum.com/fusionbb/fusionbb.php

Air compresser after you take the nipple out should blow it right out.

ok no luck but something is definitely blocking the flash chamber i think it maybe a leather wad after shooting with # 7 1/2 shot yesterday it may have went sideways and after cleaning it may have been pushed down there i tried saturating it with cleaning oil and tried the air hose nothing came out but i know there is a blockage any other idea's? maybe a place i could take it? i live in mercer in the NW part of pa. here [ i guess this is what i get for using old powder and wad's n such oh man the crap i get myself into]
