is it safe

Is it safe to unscrew my breech pug to pull out my pellets??? I know blackpowder is unstable an prone to STATIC charge setting off the powder. Or should I soak it
I have a CVA wolf...Thanks

i have the same gun...ive never had a problem unsrewing the breech plug

if your trying to save them ,may i ask why??
if you just want to unload it play it safe and soak it in water and then remove the plug

That's how I have been unloading.... Then I just save those pellets and that slug for "fun at the range" day....

Work is for people who don't hunt!!

I had a cva eclipse back when they first came out:I would unscrew the breech plug to remove the load (JUST BE SURE IT IS POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION)

Gents,

It is just plain unsafe. Any spark or static electricity could set that charge off and if you are doing it indoors then you may be putting someone else at risk. Unload with a CO2 discharger outdoors if you don't have a safe range or as others have said, flood the bore and pull the breech.

The CO2 discharger is the best money you can spend!! Mine is irreplaceable.
