Shot my still brand new TC Black Diamond yesterday and was not happy with the results. I only had 3f goex and 338 gr platinum powerbelts and tried 90 and 95 gr loads. Cleaned every 3 shots and had trouble hitting paper at 100 yards 2 shots in a row. Bought a can of 2f and 295 gr hps and will try again in afew days. I was using bags off of a bench so hold was steady. I know I wasn't shooting a scoped centerfire but expected better. John DeWald thought I may have been pushing them too hard with the 3f? Any ideas are welcome!!
joe, think we've PMed in the past regarding the black diamond. Is it scoped? I would rewind to 25yds and go from there. I shoot 3 x 50grain pellets and a have shot the 245ish and 300grain PB's with great results. Experiment with different powders, charges, and bullet types. Maybe give sabots a go. Good luck, let us know how it pans out.

In my Black Diamond,I'am using the T/C 240 gr XTP mag and 2 50 gr 777 pellet.I wipe after each shot and I have a 1 1/2 group at 100 yards.I bore sighted it first and then put it on at 25 yards, then went to 100 yards.I've taken over a dozen deer with this load.
I would dump the powerbelts.
We started at 40 yards and thought we were close enogh to move to 100 yards. Sabots, scopes, and pellets aren't legal in Colorado which is where I am taking the gun on an elk hunt. I will try swabbing between each shot as the 1st is the only one that really matters.
