TC Shockwaves - Bonded vs Standard

I'm planning to hunt bear with my TC Omega this year. I have the Omega scope with the multi reticles for varying distances. You sight it in for 100 yds and it has reticles for 150, 200, 225, 250. They aren't dead on, but they are ok. For this setup, you are to use 3 pellets and a 250gr shockwave. So I guess I'm stuck with the 250, but feel that is more than enough for any bear.

My question is, for bear, what is the advantage of using the bonded Shockwaves v.s. the standard issue Shockwaves?

I don't see any advantage to using a bonded bullet at muzzleloader velocities.I've killed a couple deer with the regular shockwaves and didn't notice anything close to over-expansion.

If you get the opportunity to take a shot at a true MONSTER black bear then I would say go with the bonded bullets but if not and you still want good performance on deer then I would go with the standards.
