Re: Anyone else taking the smokepole for bear?

i did this year, first time for bear. I spotted 2 bear as i was getting onto the atv at camp. jumped off and hid in the thick trees but they must have winded me. They both were 159 yards, well in range of my muzzleloader but i didnt have time to get set up and take a shot. Pretty awesome seeing them, i may get another tag next year!
