200 grain 40 caliber xtp meets a button doe

25 yard quartering to shot. BANG flop. Driven by 70 grains of Swiss 3f from my TC Black Diamond Super 45XR. 1800 fps at muzzle, figure 1700ish at impact. Hit the shoulder knuckle, blew up 2 ribs and had a 3 inch hole in the chest wall going in. Lungs were shredded and the heart was... messed up. The bullet did not exit. Figured it was coming apart after having mashed a fair bit of bone. Very happy with this bullet.
Oh yeah, the button Doe thing. She had antler buttons, but was all girl otherwise. Shemale?

Somewhat off topic. It seems kind of irrational to permit such 40 cal ammo, but not a 40 caliber rifle that could shoot the same bullet with the same force.

Congrats on the deer.

I shot this same bullet one year out of an old trapdoor 45-70 over 70grs of 3f goex.

Very effective on deer, good wound channel damage and penetration,
trajectory was very flat. the rifle had been sighted in with 405gr cast, these .40 xtp's shot so flat there wasn't enough adjustment in the sights and had to put a different front sight on.
