Traditions 209 novice question

Good Morning HPA. I recently came across one of these only fired a few times according to the original owner.

The first thing i did was take it to a local gunsmith to have him take it completely apart and double check everything was good to go. Needed to replace a part and also polish the barrel because it had some pitting due to sitting in a garage for 3 years.

Gun cleaned up nice, and here I am not knowing anything about them.

My local gander mountain employee gave me suggestions on what to shoot, but i am asking if anyone knows of a chart/load data somewhere that i can get my hands on to start somewhere?

Thanks in advance

Chris

Re: Traditions 209 novice question

Start by going to page 3 and read the load combo starting point. That should get you started with what your looking for.

Generally most use 100 grains of pellet and they're bullet of preference.

Re: Traditions 209 novice question

The one suggestion I would like to make is, try Thompson Centers Cheap Shot bullets and sabots. I wish I had tried these first. They shoot just as well out of my inline as the more expensive ones. Natchez has them on sale now for $6.49 per 20 right now. Good Luck and have fun.
