Encore Prohunter 50 Cal Inline barrel cleaning

I have a cheaper Wolf 209 CVA in line and a Prohunter 50 Cal inline.. Seems I have to run the cleaning rod after every 2nd shot of the T/C Prohunter vs the cheaper CVA Wolf 209. Seems like the sabot is harder to seat on the Prohunter barrel after the 3rd, 4th etc firing unless I run the cleaning rod down the barrel.. No problem with doing this... I just notice the resistance that is in the dirty barrel of the Prohunter compared the the cheaper CVA gun... The Prohunter is
more accurate then the Wolf 209 magnum.. However you get what you pay for..

what propellant are you using ? also there is no standard 50 cal bore dia. 50 cal bores vary from mfg to mfg. my guess is the tc is slightly smaller. also if your are using pyrodex or 777 swabbing between shots is normal. with blackhorn 209 I isn't normally needed. I can shoot all day with my tc prohunter fx using bh209 and never need to swab.

Thompson barrels typically run .497, and CVA runs almost at .505, so TC is going to be a tighter bore
