Powderhorn

Does anybody know where I can find a flat powderhorn with scrimshaw made from preferably a local source? Local being a Pennsylvania source. No particular reason why other than I like to buy local when possible. Also if anybody has a bad to the bone powderhorn you would like to show off, post a pic. I would like to see'um. Thank for any help.

Re: Powderhorn

Check online for Allen Martin - was at his shop and he had some, but not sure if he sells them or not. If not, he can direct you to someone that does. Also, the 18th Century Artisans Show in Lewisburg (February I think) will blow you away with the early-American craftsmanship and artwork, including powderhorns.

Re: Powderhorn

I'd also suggest going to the Artisan Show in Lewisburg. You won't find a better place to look at a pile of different options and talk to the people who make them.
