flintlock in a blind

Anybody ever shoot a flintlock from inside a camo blind,i got a camo blind for Christmas and was wondering if it was safe to fire the gun from inside, the flash from the pan has me concerned about the blind catching fire.

I,ve done it and weather permitting I,ll be in one first light.Poke your barrel out of the blind and stay near the center or left side of the blind if your a right hand shooter since your concerned of goin up in flames.

It's fine if you use common sense,,no worries....but it can "smoke" you out a bit after firing

Naw..... just make sure the passenger side window is rolled all the way down. Really tho, no worries. Small blind may get a lil smokey, but not likely to burn. Good luck and have a great season

The best guns go off with a rock in the lock....

Re: flintlock in a blind

I put the gun out the big window, supported by crossstick, just a short broomhandle split in two with a wingnut and bolt. It can get hard to see first thing in am and pm. Biggest issue is length of the gun, all mine are customs not tc's or Lyman, managable but not with a smaller blind or two people.....

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......
