4F Black Powder

Can I buy 4F powder in a smaller size than a 1 pound can?

Some stores sell lil dixons but your far away. Get one and your done for life if just hunting, can use fff as well and in barrel. Last longer with moisture in pan than ffff...

Anybody can shoot deer on the farm ground....You earn it in the mountains.......

I just use 3f in both the pan and main charge. I've never noticed a difference between 3f and 4f with flintlock ignition.

You can also put a lead ball in a plastic film canister with powder and shake till you get the size you want.
Wish you were closer.Have accumulated too much FFFFg.

sure, you can use 1f,2f or 3f in the pan, it will "work", but 4f will work better for you. as said, a can will last you forever and maybe you can split it with someone else who needs some.
