Re: question on flintlock license.

Its listed as muzzleloader, and if you have not shot a buck, the flintlock season is an either sex harvest on the buck tag. If you have shot a buck, you need a doe tag to hunt.

Re: question on flintlock license.

I think the "buy it by" deadline ended when the "bonus tags" were issued. Now that doe tags are sort of an independent thing, I think you can add the ML license when you want, but I guess the only way to know, if you can't find it in the book, is to go see if you can buy one.

Re: question on flintlock license.

I think that would just give you the ability to shoot an antlerless deer for that tag, but you still need a muzzleloader license to hunt with a muzzleloader in the late season, and it must be a flintlock.

Re: question on flintlock license.

Yeah they did away with the deadline several years ago. I think it was with the point of sale licenses or before, but you can go buy one yet this year and hunt with your flinter. I'm gonna.

Sadly most of my life has been wasted, but the rest I spent hunting, fishing, and trapping...

You can use a flintlock but DMAP tags are zone specific, only good for that specific unit.

Re: question on flintlock license.

You can use your buck tag on an antlerless deer with a flintlock and muzzleloader license.
