150 gr. Don't remember if its 2f or 3f. It was designed to take the pellets. I just use 90 gr. of 777 loose powder with power belts in mine. Groups nice and doesn't beat you up. With open sights I'm not sure what you gain using more powder. 100 yards is a long way.

Re: tc firestorm

Mine wouldn't group until I pushed it hard - three 777 pellets and a powerbelt - take your pick - 245, 295, 348 or 405 - two inches at a hundred yards with a scope to verify. 150 gr of blackpowder does it too. As I went down on the powder charge, the accuracy with PB's degraded. Wish it would shoot better with a lighter charge - 150 gr gr rocks your world! I'm not especially recoil sensitive, but I do try for the best accuracy I can get. I found around 80 gr of BP and a roundball groups decently. When I get thru the PB's I have, I'll try some other projectiles.......RB's are ok, but I like a maximization of accuracy and penetration as best I can get. YMMV.
