Inline Pistol Doe Video @ 35 yards

I got really tired of hauling around my Inline Muzzle Loader during the archery season. Bow in hand, along with inline. Just got to be to much. So two weeks ago I sold my inline to a nice fellow, and that same week he scored a doe with it. And I purchased a CVA Optima V2 Muzzle Loading Pistol. It fits right into my backpack and is a blast to shoot. I was lucky enough to take my first deer of the season with it on the last day of inline season for 2015.

This is my very first hunting video. A little rough, hopefully they get better in the future. Thanks for watching.

Great video! And nice mature doe!

A suggestion is not to whisper so low (You already kilt her!), and pull the mask, when you are doing the replay cameo and Optima marketing!

Re: Inline Pistol Doe Video @ 35 yards

Thanks! Some family members said the same thing who saw the video last night. I did the after shot talk, moments after I fired. Next time I will wait a bit. I sure do like that pistol. Two people that have held it, both want one. lol

Thanks! 230 sabot hp. Fps will have to wait till next year. I did a quick set up on the pistol since. I only got it this past Thurdays. I was shooting a 100 gn load.

The 240 and 250 XTPs are much tougher bullets. The 230 is known for massive fragmentation. Congrats on your harvest.

Re: Inline Pistol Doe Video @ 35 yards

The bullet passed completely through the deer. I'm not shooting an xtp. It's a tc sabot and bullet package.
