Federal Trophy Copper Muzzleloader bullets

Anyone try these in their inline? I am looking to develop a load in my new inline but can't find them anywhere. Any input is appreciated.

Re: Federal Trophy Copper Muzzleloader bullets

If they are that hard to get you may want to try easier ones to get first.

I have others to try but these seem very enticing.

Re: Federal Trophy Copper Muzzleloader bullets

Randy Wakeman (love him or hate him) did a video review of them and he seemed to really like them and they were definitely accurate based on the video. Though I haven't seen any in small gun shops I've been in, probably the best bet is to check the big boys like Cabela's or Bass Pro online. I'm a 100% copper only kind of guy when shooting and hunting with my inline, and that's why I shoot the Barnes variety. Am I in a hurry to try these instead? No, and I probably won't, but it certainly is interesting and I believe Federal has a winner on this one and they should sell many packages. Go for it and try it, as it probably performs very closely to Barnes.

Re: Federal Trophy Copper Muzzleloader bullets

The 270gr Trophy copper are crazy accurate. My LHR puts them in the same ragged hole at 50 yards.
No need for further load development.
