Any other Barnes muzzleloader bullet shooters?

These are the only bullets I've shot outta the T/C Impact, and really like them. Killed three deer with the Spitfire T-EZ dropped into Harvester sabots, and they seem to really hit deer hard and break whatever bones are in the way. The deer really have a hard time going anywhere far after being hit. Just looking for input from other hunters who use them.

You have the Best killing muzzle loading bullet out there.. The novices, complain how hard they are to stuff down the barrel,, but ,,,, you only going to shoot once....Spend a little time with different sabots,, I use the Crushed Ribs.. with Blackhorn 209...

I never heard of any current Barnes bullet for muzzleloaders..... any model, that did not perform well.

Right. It's a shame a lot of people don't realize that with a simple sabot swap, it can be a night and day difference. I use the Crush Rib also, with 110 grain of Blackhorn 209 behind it. I've shot and killed with both the large hollow point Expander MZ and now as I've said, the Spitfire T-EZ. I would use either one in a heartbeat, but tend to stick with the tipped version due to it's SLIGHTLY better accuracy.

What ever bullet you choose(and Barnes is terrific) use nothing but Blackhorn Powder.Your 20th shot will be as accurate as your first shot.Been muzzleloading since 1974.I use strictly black pwder in my flintlocks but when it comes to poder for inlines, forget your 777 or Pyrodex or Dots. There is "NOTHING like BLACKHORN POWDER.One more time,BLACKHORN POWDER and throw the rest of the obsolete stuff away.

I love Blackhorn, the stuff is unreal. I haven't even thought about touching Pyrodex or Triple Se7en since Blackhorn 209 came out. Everyone should do their muzzleloader's barrel a favor and shoot this powder and never have to worry about cemented breech plugs, rust, or corrosion.

Not cheap for paper but when it comes time to hunt, its super cheap to have a quality bullet that stays together and anchors them. The gas you put into your truck costs a lot more than the bullets you use.
