I'm off tomorrow and Saturday. I cannot find a Deer in muzzy to save my life. I don't mean something within range, I just cannot even find a tail. We all know what the forecast is for the next couple days. So, who is going to drag their butt out of bed in the pre-dawn hours and give it one more go ? BE HONEST.
The forecast where I'll be hunting is calling for 2 degrees(feels like -14) at dawn on Saturday.
So MAYBE, but doubtful. I don't mind the cold, but I do mind frostbite.
My choices are to try to head out Saturday, or head out in the 3 to 5 inches of snow(on top of the likely 10 or so inches already on the ground) forecasted Friday, but at the least it will feel like 0 with the windchill!
This afternoon is still up in the air.
Definitely going out Friday and Saturday with my daughters.
One still hasn't seen a deer this year.
I know the city deer have not moved too much the last few days.
Probably be out in the afternoon Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Doubt I'll make it out in the morning, especially after being out this morning to warm
Up my truck. This stupid wind with the cold is ridiculous. Oh well.
Seems like most deer just aren't moving far. Watched a couple groups of deer along the highway in the thick stuff with just a few standing and the rest bedding.
