Deerstalker with Hornady GP bullets Load Advice

I just got my first muzzleloader. It's a Lyman Deerstalker .50 caliber (1991 vintage). I have some Hornady Great Plains Bullets and Goex 2F powder for the main charge. I only have several days left in the season and not a lot of time to play at the range. Any advice on where I should start with the powder, has anyone out there used these bullets in the Deerstalker? I am excited to get out and only wish that I'd had the gun earlier to be able to have more time to work out a good load. I plan to take it to the range for a few test shots before Wednesday afternoon when I hope to get the gun out in the woods.

I'm guessing your bullet is 385 grains.
I surmise you will be close using 80 grains of Goex.

I would start at 70 grains. I have a tc firestorm and anything over 80 grains would blow powder past the bullet and not shoot well. Granted yours is a different gun but those bullets seem finicky compared to others I have shot in the past.
