traditional sidelock but with a twist!?

I really like my savage 111 thumbhole. I know this is a bit crazy BUT is it possible to make a functional yet awesome thumbhole stock and build a really cool unique gun. buy a kit and get a custom thumbhole stock built around the parts?

If you have the time and money, you can make whatever you want.

Actually fast twist side lock percussion guns ruled the long distance shooting matches until the famous match at Creedmore between the Irish and Americans. They shot out to 1000 yds.

While they weren't thumb hole guns they were pistol grip stocks, which was almost as wildly exotic for the 1870's.
