Presque Isle-Erie

Does anyone hunt this area? We were thinking of hitting it in late muzzleloader and wondered where may be best to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Presque Isle-Erie

I think you may have to get a special permit to hunt the Presque Isle bay area? I`ve hunted the game lands around Geneva (RT 285)with some success, may be worth a try.

Re: Presque Isle-Erie

I have flintlock hunted pi. We moved some deer on a push and my brother missed one.

The park is pretty small when you take out the areas that are closed for hunting. Drive around the loop and pick a spot. Its a pretty unique environment. Take rubber boots, hip boots aren't overkill. Also deet for ticks.

Good luck.

Re: Presque Isle-Erie

Thank you, I appreciate the help and info on ticks. I would have not even thought about that this time of year.
