First time success

Friday evening connected with this doe in 2A using my lyman deerstalker 50cal. She was my first kill with a muzzleloader and now i am hooked. I use 70gr FFF and 295 powerbelt. Shot her at 30 yards and she ran about 20 yards and checked out. My buddy was filming the hunt, first squeeze of the trigger nothing but a puff of pan powder. I was able to fill my pan back up with out her running off. After the shot we watched the video back and i couldn't tell that i hit her she didn't buckle or look hit. After about 10 mins i walked down to where she was standing and there was blood. We followed the blood trail for about 20 yards and there she was.

Re: First time success

Nice!! Congrats on the harvest.

Do you mind if I download the video and edit it to do a slow motion of the shot? I havent watched the videos yet due to my internet being low on bandwidth but I'd very much like to see about getting the videos and put them into one and do slowmo.
