Pro hunter breech plug

Any one have their breech plug look like the Rings(washers)on the bottom of it look like they are rusty.
I soaked it in oil and will clean it before I use it but was Just wondering if it is going to hurt anything?

Mine was like that after a few cleanings. Still puts 3 shots touching at 100yards so I would say no it don't hurt a thing.

They gunk up. They also don't seal as well over time, I wrap em with Teflon Tape to improve seal, works great.

Your just jealous because I've been chatting online with babes all day!!

+1 on the Teflon tape. Using the grease is too messy. Tape comes of easy when time to clean
