muzzy storage

Is it ok to store my muzzy in a closet? Right now it is in a soft carry case with the zipper half open...I got a buddy telling me to take it out of the case.

Re: muzzy storage

yea it is ok in the closet. just take it out every now and then to clean the outside of it and oil it just so it doesn't rust from humidity. the soft case will keep it from getting banged up.

Re: muzzy storage

I spray the inside of all my gun cases with a light coat liquid wrench silicone spray. Protects the guns, displaces moisture and prevents rust.

Re: muzzy storage

Storing in a silicone gun sack will help prevent rust. Storing in a carry case is risky, as it holds moisture, and can promote rust. IMHO
