CCI percussion caps?

anyone else having trouble with them? the #11 magnum caps are not working properly. the hammer on the rifle has to strike them twice for them to fire. The regular #11's are working fine.

Re: CCI percussion caps?

Sounds like your spring is a little weak for the mags.

Re: CCI percussion caps?

Never tried the CCI #11 mags but had trouble with CCI regulars. Went with RWS Dynamit Nobel No. 1075 Plus's. As far as i know..the hottest cap available & best cap going bar none!!

Re: CCI percussion caps?

Agree. Last batch i got from Hakes Sporting Goods in Wrightsville...1,000(10 tins). I cant remember exactly but around $6-$7 a tin..was about $20 more than CCI's but well worth it..

Re: CCI percussion caps?

I just started using them and went through most of a tin so far and I've had no problems with them. I'm using them on a Traditions .50 and they are AMAZING.
