The Edge

The Edge
Made in 1997 in Alberta, Canada and starring Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin, Elle McPherson, and Bart the Bear.
A rich billionaire and his friends in a single engine float plane run into a flock of geese and crash into a lake in the wilderness. Just getting dumped into the wilderness with nothing but the clothes on their back is bad enough, and they certainly don't need a man killer Griz stalking them to make things more difficult.
Hopkins and Baldwin prove themselves to be real actors and Bart does an excellent job of portraying a bear, plus the scenery in the Canadian Rockies make this an adventure/suspense movie an outdoorsman is sure to enjoy.
If you haven't seen it you should, and if you have seen it before see it and enjoy it again.

I saw it years ago. I watch anything with Anthony Hopkins in it.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

"Tomorrow is promised to no one."
"What one man can do, another man can do." Two good quotes from the movie.

This is who we are. This is what we do.
