I may go out in the afternoon. I'll see how the dogs do when I let them out of the kennel. I just walked across my yard, picked up a half inch layer of ice. Not conducive to pads or rabbits.

Debating. We have about 10" of snow down with a crust on top that can't support hounds.

Went out yesterday, dogs did well.
Bunnies could barely run though, only thing you could see was their heads moving in the snow, until they hit a hard pack, or crust thick enough to get on top of.

Today on the short hunt I went on, rabbits seemed more scarce, and the drifts deeper. Crust was thicker it seemed. Scenting was good though, as every rabbit jumped circled well, with minimal checks.

Had a trial yesterday. It was ugly. Got 4th in champ class.
