Upland Wandering Part II slow start and end

Upland Wandering Part II/ cross-post with the UJ

Well for the most part my season has ended. I may make another trip back to XY if we get a thaw but for now Iím snowed out of my covers and PA is now closed for the year.
Overall my season came in with a whimper and ended with a whimper. My early season (Late Sept into early Oct) was pretty slow then things started to pick up as the leaves made their way to the ground.

We hit some old favorites

And on one day, things came together for the team

It was not long before the bare November days were nearly over

I managed to keep a little bit of November and December with me

Then in a blink, everything went white

The snow came heavy this year and many of the covers were put away early for the season.

I made it out a few more times and found a few snow roosted birds but things really cooled down in Jan and before I knew it the season was over.

I hope everyone had a great season!

Nice PE BB!

Let's plan a weekend grouse hunt in xy.
