How did the PA Snowshoe Hare Season Go?

I didn't see much of anything posted from the HPA hare hunters this past season. How was the season?

That goes without saying. In Maine or even better, New Brunswick have tons of hare. I fear we are seeing the last remnants of snowshoe hare in PA. I actually seen a couple here in Somerset County back in the 70's and 80's and a friend of mine harvested one in 1991 or '92 along Shade Creek not far from where I live now. But, I have not even seen a track of one in over 20 years and I think they only exist in extreme northern PA.

You won't see too many guys talking about them on this site anymore, it generates too much interest and guys are always on here looking for info about where they can find them.

Oh, I see. Makes sense with a hard to locate game animal. I don't blame them.

Kind of like deer now huh?? Ooooo! I'll get it for that one.....

I heard the guys out east pounded the hare this year. Not a hare to be seen West of State College, John-PA killed them all.

I think u have a better chance of seeing a sasquatch than a hare at the owls nest anymore.
