Re: Pheasant Stamp

Definately for it, I love to hunt pheasants, think a stamp is a good idea. But the legislature will not give us one.

Re: Pheasant Stamp

For it. If priced correctly, it would be no problem at all when buying a license. (Like the trout stamp & Lake Erie permit for fishing)
Monies could then be used to further the WPRA project (they're on to something !) and the already lights-out pheasant stocking program.

These are the good old days.

Re: Pheasant Stamp

I'd be all for it. If they continue to put out the quality of birds they have been, even better.

I don't have ducks. I don't have rows. I have squirrels. And they're drunk.

Re: Pheasant Stamp

I would be against it. I hunt with no dogs but that isn't the problem, the problem is other guys have taken pheasants that my buddy and I shot. They did not even fire their gun but were first on scene to claim the pheasants with their dogs. Happened a few times and we did not bother to fight over it. If they go to stamps I will save the money and go hunt on a farm. Would be more fun for us and guarantee we get some birds.

Re: Pheasant Stamp

All for it, if they can keep this outstanding program as good as it is!

Re: Pheasant Stamp

No problems with it but it will never get through the state legislature. They won't give the PGC any more money until the deer problem (as the legislature sees it) is fixed. Don't hold your breath for a license increase either.

Don't be a hater. Go get a dog and really enjoy yourself.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.

Re: Pheasant Stamp

I'm for it, who cares about cost, what could it be 30-40 bucks? A pheasant farm is 200-300$ for 4 hrs. No comparison !!!

Re: Pheasant Stamp

All for it!!!!! The why- as it is right now all hunters pay for this enormous bill hunters that nerver hunt them pay. It's only right that the ones hunting them pay for it. The thing is the right people aren't asking for it so it will never happen. We have been talking about it for years still no stamp and I highly doubt we will see one.
