Remember These?

I remember back in the 60's,before I could hunt, throwing these around the school yard.Always after the 1st day of small game the kids would make these and bring them to school.Good Old Days!
Anyone still make them for their kids or grandkids?

The answers to all of life's questions are found in the Bible!

Re: Remember These?

Looks like the natural way to make that outlawed game. Law darts.

I wonder how many people today know what a corn cob is.

Re: Remember These?

You don't see many in their natural habitat that's for sure.
Buying them at a roadside stand to hang on your mailbox or door for the holidays don't count

My ability to remember lyrics from songs of the 60's far exceed my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen

Re: Remember These?

.410er,
You bet, we even wired them on to the front of our International or Farmall Farm Tractors during Pheasant season.
You are showing your age sir! Man does that picture bring back some serious memories.
We brought them to school and the teachers would hang them on the top of the Black Boards. Doubt the teachers today would even know what they are.

Re: Remember These?

Can't throw around school yards today. So schools you can't even plat tag or toss around a hard football, baseball or soccer ball!
