What a fun hunt today with some old friends and just tough gritty hound work.
It was dry and the rabbits sat tight, So tight the dogs caught 1 on the jump and almost had 2 more.
Toddo got out for the first time this season (even drew a little blood on his cheek) and we hit a spot that had been down a bit in numbers the last few years, Not this year though. No limits but We took 10 by about 1PM and saved the other half of this hunt for another day.
Those are some good looking Beagles right there. Good hunters too. What a nice bag of cottontails. Nothing like hunting bunnies with dogs. I miss hunting with a good dog. Looks like a great day afield.
