Great Day on the farm

We had a terrific day today.
Oodles of game both furred and feathered.

We had our limits of bunnies by noon and added a couple of pheasants to round out the day. Should have a had a few more pheasants but our shooting wasn't that good on those buggers.

Not bad John

He showed a lot of nose and his hunt improved as he got a little blood in front of him.
His eyes lit up when he saw that first dead bunny. and he was in on it when the girls caught one that we hadn't shot at and also he and Gret finished off a cripple.

Overall, you could tell it was his first hunt, he would occasionally come out for some reassurance when they weren't running, but I didn't see anything bad that would tell me he is not going to develop.

Re: Great Day on the farm

Sounds good for his first hunt. He better start hunting harder or he won't stick around too long.
