Re: when is dove season?

Sept 1 unless that's a Sunday, I'm pretty sure. I think the day before that if it does falls on Sunday. Someone will know for sure.

Re: when is dove season?

On the PGC website click on the 2013-2014 waterfowl brochure tab that has the two wood ducks pictured. It starts the day after if the first is on a Sunday, the September season is from noon until sunset.

Re: when is dove season?

Doves * Sept. 2- Sept. 28 Oct. 26-Nov. 30 & Dec. 26-Jan. 1 15 Woodcock Oct. 19-Nov. 30 3 Common snipe Oct. 19-Nov. 30 8 Virginia and sora rails ** Sept. 2-Nov. 9 3 (The season for king and clapper rails is closed.)

You won't find migratory season in the Digest...set after the Digest is printed.

Don't forget the migratory bird permit as well for dove

Re: when is dove season?

just the state permit if you are hunting dove/ woodcock
for Waterrfowl Geese ducks you need both.

Re: when is dove season?

It is never in the seasons and bag limits info in the digest just like waterfowl because the feds set the parameters of the seasons after the digests are printed.

+1

The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
