Well here is some pictures from my season this year. I don't have a picture of everything but this is most of them.
Me and my buddy hunted a gameland one morning and I got 2 cockbirds and he got a rabbit. The dogs did a nice job this morning.
I hunted by myself on this morning and the dogs ran the one rabbit out of hearing twice before I shot it.
I hunted with my g/f and my buddy and his wife on a saturday. We got one and missed 2 others. We had alot of laughs and a great time on this trip.
This is was a solo hunt in the afternoon. Plenty of birds were out there.
Last week me and my buddies went to the cabin for grouse camp. We took 15 chuckar up to start the weekend off and we ended up getting 12 of them. We flushed a bunch of grouse and had a great time. My one buddy shot a double over the dog and my other friend got one the next day. Here is the double. Didn't get a picture of the other one.
We talked to a farmer and found a small spot to hunt rabbits and they dogs hammered on these two.
They were calling for snow on saturday when we were up at camp. So we decided to head down to my buddies place in western, pa for the last day of the season he said we'd see some rabbits down there. But I never would of thought it was going to be the way it ended up the next day. We wook up to a windy day and it was snowing. I figured this is going to be horrible with all this wind. But I was wrong. We ended the day with a tailgate of 11 rabbits and had alot more misses and ones that got away. Alot of good laughs and the dogs got plenty of exercise. This was my best day out with the dogs as far as numbers go. Everyone was circled at least once or twice. The beer drinking started after the hunt was over and we got to my buddies for pictures.
Thanks to the game commision again for all the extra birds they put out this year. And hopefully the late season is just as good.
