Thanksgiving Morning

My father-in-law came to our house early because he wanted to get out with the dogs in the morning. We walked a ditch to a wooded area without finding anything. We walked the ditch back and worked the opposite side of the wooded area when Nittany started a running bird. Blitz joined him and then Blitz had a quick point before a rooster flushed up. I took the shot and managed to knock him down. We thought that was enough and worked our way back to the truck. It was a great early season with birds seen every time I was out with the dogs. Happy Thanksgiving!

Re: Thanksgiving Morning

What a great way to start a Thanksgiving Day! We also are having a great early season, almost a shame we have to stop for deer season. Thanks for sharing, and give your pups a little Thanksgiving treat, they certainly deserve it!

It's breeding,training...and something unknown.
