What did I find?

I went out hunting the other day at SGL 297 in Washington county. As soon as I stepped out of my truck I found this in the parking area. It appears to be a raccoon that someone killed, skinned, and left. What is this all about?

Re: What did I find?

I know you are curious as to what the critter is and, frankly, I don't know. However, as to your question relative to what it's about.... It's about an ignorant person or persons who feels that its okay for them to somehow display a dead carcus of an anomal for others to see. A [censored] markinig it terratory is another way to describe such clownish behavior. This type of behavior does not honor the animal or people who hunt or trap.

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

Re: What did I find?

Yeah I'm more interested in understanding what I found than I am in knowing what type of animal it is.

It was upsetting to say the least.

Re: What did I find?

you found the trash of a slob who would rather leave it in a parking lot than take it home and dispose of it the proper way.

Re: What did I find?

I would say it's a [censored]. And I don't mean the animal.

Re: What did I find?

really! No more upset than seeing trash litter along the road or in a SGL parking area. At least with a carcass some critters will get a meal and it will be gone... With cans plastic paper bags and foam containers they'll be there for a long time....

Re: What did I find?

I guess upset wasn't the best word. Disgusted would be better. I thought there is a difference between hunting and killing.
